Carolyn Canfield promotes relationship-based health care in Japan

Carolyn Canfield, Honorary Lecturer and Patient Safety Champion in the department recently visited Japan to promote relationship-based health care for better safety and quality.  Six speaking engagements included presentations for clinicians, managers and researchers to the 11th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare in Tokyo, Yokohama City University Medical Center, Atzu Medical Center, Fukushima Prefecture, Osaka University Hospital, Takayam Red Cross Hospital, Kurashiki Central Hospital, Okayama, and the Graduate School of Health Care Sciences, Jikei Institute, Osaka.  Her talks were based on an article published in the Japanese Journal of Quality and Safety in Healthcare. Click here to read the full article.
