Director's Message

The UBC Family Practice Residency Program is resourced, coordinated, and supported centrally within the Department of Family Practice, and is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

In order to best serve residents, and provide the greatest opportunity for education and training we use a distributed model of education, involving, under one program, 12 educational sites, each providing its own distinctive strength, and particular learning opportunities. This offers residents a selection of the site which can best prepare them for the practice location they expect to work in, with the highest level of confidence in knowledge and skill.
