please contact the MedIT Help Desk.
The MedIT Help Desk is able to accept and log tickets for IT issues, via telephone, or e-mail. Supported clients can call to report IT related issues during business hours, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, on regular university business days (Monday to Friday, excluding university observed holidays). Issues can also be reported via e-mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you report an issue via e-mail or leave a message on voicemail, the Help Desk will call you back to address your issue as soon as they are available.

Mission
The Department of Family Medicine Information Technology Support Team is dedicated to help support information technologies and develop initiatives that foster Intradepartmental, Faculty, and Provinicial Health Authority communication and security. Further FMIT is dedicated to bringing Health Communities across the Province of British Columbia together through secure technologies, it-support and e-learning.
IT Support is a key component in dedicating education of physicians who will be effective providers of patient-centred care in the context of family and community. FMIT will provide leadership in the stimulation and facilitation of academic and community-based research and education that addresses the needs of health communities.
Our goal is to provide quick access to reliable resources via a secure province-wide network infrastucture for faculty, staff, students and physicians.
