Associate Program Director

The Post Graduate Program of the UBC Department of Family Practice invites applications for the position of Associate Program Director in the Family Medicine Residency Program.
The Family Medicine Postgraduate Program at UBC is widely distributed throughout the province. The main role of the Associate Director is to assist the Program Director in his/her responsibilities pertaining to the delivery and quality of the Postgraduate Residency Program in Family Medicine at UBC. Specific responsibilities are mutually determined through regular reviews and tasks at hand. The Associate Director fulfills the Program Director responsibilities when the Program Director is away or unavailable.
Applicants must be a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Experience as a family physician is important. Leadership experience and excellence in communication skills would be considered an essential.
The incumbent reports to the Director of Postgraduate Programs. It is anticipated that the position will require the equivalent of approximately 0.4 FTE (2 days/week), based at the Department of Family Medicine office at UBC Point Grey campus.
