Dr. Joshua Greggain Appointed as DFP Postgrad Program Director
The Department is pleased to announce Dr. Josh Greggain as the new director of the Family Practice Residency Program. This appointment comes following the tenure of Dr. Mark MacKenzie. Dr. Greggain will officially start on January 1, 2024, with a transition period beginning in December.

Postgrad Program Expands to 23 Residency Training Sites Across the Province
The DFP Postgraduate Program has expanded to include three new sites—North Okanagan, Cowichan and Rural Immersion—bringing the program to a total of 23 sites across British Columbia.

The Department would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Cecilia Jevitt for her five-year tenure as the director of the UBC Midwifery Program. As of September 1, Dr. Jevitt has handed over the role to Dr. Kellie Thiessen. Since 2018, Dr. Jevitt has led the program through a number of incredible accomplishments and substantial growth.
